PolyOne Corp. has developed new colorants it says simulate effects of outer space.
PolyOne Corp. has developed new colorants it says simulate effects of outer space. Aimed at personal care and cosmetic products made of PET, they resulted from the company’s ColorMatrix research on a range of colors.
The Avon Lake, Ohio, firm said its Planets liquid colorants can mimic the darkness of deep space and interstellar hues. PolyOne claims the colorants can help brand owners create a sense of cosmic mystery and stylish aesthetics. The new ColorMatrix colorants provide rich but subtle tonal effects and create a perception of quality.
