Company officials said Wittmann Battenfeld Inc. booked more than $1 million in orders from its open house June 5-6 in Torrington, Conn.
Equipment sold included injection molding machines, robots and blenders and material handling systems.
“We felt the open house was incredibly successful, said David Preusse, president of the U.S. unit. “Not only did we have a high number of interested and engaged attendees, we were also able to show off our increased capacity and highlight our company’s one-stop shopping advantage,” he said. “We are excited to see significant orders coming in as a direct result of the event.”
In other news, Wittmann Battenfeld’s WiBa Connect app has topped 500 users.
The company also is ready to launch a nine-month roadshow across the United States, bringing a truck packed with machinery do live product demonstrations.
