Medical-grade polymer specialist Compounding Solutions LLC has launched a line of color concentrates that are available off the shelf to cut lead times in delivery.
The Lewiston, Maine, company says the new medical-grade concentrates come in various colors for use in polymers such as nylons 11 and 12 and polyether block amide. Compounding Solutions makes the concentrates using USP Class VI compliant ingredients. They meet U.S. Food and Drug Administration compliance for use in medical devices without batch certification. Compounding Solutions’ expansion in 2010 included a 7,000-square-foot white room for medical compounding. | |
