France-based robot maker Sepro Robotique earned one of three Premium Supplier Awards from Faurecia Interior Systems, the automotive supplier.
Eric Pichot-Duclos, Faurencia’s tool and equipment purchasing director, said premium suppliers are determined based on a performance scorecard that tracks things like innovation, quality, service and financial stability.
For injection molding, Sepro supplies 90 percent of Faurecia’s robots.
The award was presented at the annual supplier convention of Faurecia Interior Systems, held in Detroit in early June.
Sepro is based in La Roche-sur-Yon, France.
